George Wallace

George Corbett Wallace, Jr., 63, Huntingdon, TN passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Baptist Hospital, Huntingdon, TN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Epperson officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery, Dover, TN. Visitation will be on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 4:30-8:00 pm and on Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 2-4:00 pm. He was born June 23, 1949 in Stewart Co., TN son of George Corbett Wallace, Sr. and Virgie Wallace. Mr. Wallace was retired from the U.S. Postal Service , was a U.S. Marine Vietnam veteran and was a member of the VFW Post #4730. He was preceded in by his father, and sister, Pam Sykes. In addition to his mother of Bumpus Mills, TN, survivors include his daughter, Gina Eatman, Huntington, TN; brother, Mitchell Wallace, Bumpus Mills, TN; sister, Beverly Hawkins, Big Rock, TN and grandchildren, Hunter Ledsinger and Kaylee Eatman. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
