Geneva Lockwood

Geneva Lockwood, 91, Dover, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at her home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover with Bro. Dean Lee officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 pm Saturday, March 31, 2012 and Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 12:00 pm until the hour of service at Anglin Funeral Home. Mrs. Lockwood was born February 22, 1921 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late Walter and Callie Whitford Lancaster. She was a homemaker and a garment factory worker. She was a member of the Mt. View Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Lockwood of 69 years and her daughter, Amelia Lockwood Jones, six brothers and one sister. Survivors include her daughter, Nelda Filson Young, Dover; grandchildren, Ronnie Jones, Regena Nunn, Dana Arnold, Christa Blane, Tim Filson and eleven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Jones, Tim Filson, Laken Blane, Devin Nunn, Stanley Nunn and Mark Nunn. Honorary pallbearers will be Chandler Blane, Colin Nunn, Randy Blane, Glen Lancaster, Jerry Lancaster, Brit Young and Lance Nunn.
