Aubrey Gene Nunn, 75, Dover, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Burgess and Thomas Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Friday and from 9-10 am Saturday at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born February 20, 1935 in Model, TN son of the late Aubrey "Pete" and Mertie Cherry Nunn. Mr. Nunn was a commercial fisherman, a Cumberland Presbyterian and a member of Mt. View Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Robert Nunn. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Dorothy Downs Nunn, Dover, TN; brother, George Nunn, Dover, TN; sons, Mark and Stanley Nunn, both of Dover, TN; grandsons, Lance, Devin and Colin Nunn and granddaughter, Britni Nunn. Pallbearers will be Lance Nunn, Devin Nunn, Terry Fitzhugh, Tim Filson, Tony Downs, Frankie Sills and Mike Futrell.
