Mrs. Gaylon Miller, age 70, of Big Rock, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital. Born on September 15, 1955, she was the beloved daughter of the late Russell and Nora Simpson Ellis.
Gaylon was a caring and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the local nursing home, where she found great joy in caring for her patients, whom she lovingly referred to as her dear friends. Her compassion, kindness, and gentle spirit touched the lives of countless families and residents. She always extended a helping hand, doing everything she could to bring comfort, happiness, and love to those entrusted to her care.
The same loving heart she shared with her patients was evident in her home. Gaylon treasured every day with her husband and daughter and especially enjoyed preparing their favorite meals, creating lasting memories around the family table. Gaylon will be remembered for her gentle heart, unwavering compassion, and the love she freely shared with everyone she met. Her legacy of kindness and service will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Donald "Elroy" Miller; her brother, Russell Ellis; and her sister, Mary Ann Robenson.
Left to cherish her memory is her precious and devoted daughter, Amy Sue Miller.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Anglin Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Miller Cemetery with Bro. Larry Lafferty officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
