Ms. Gayla Gibbs, age 70, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Henry County Medical Center, Paris, TN. She was born, August 28, 1948 in South Carolina, daughter of the late Rev. Joe and Eulala Griffin Anderson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Gibbs, and daughter, Angela Gibbs-Weaver.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Mary Beth Crain (Seth), Ryan Gregory Weaver-Lee, Tyler George, Joel Brake, Owen Brake, Noah Brake, Brittney Brake, Riley Bell Brake, and Emily Brake.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Greenwood Cemetery, 976 Greenwood Ave. Clarksville, TN 37040. Visitation will be from 9:45 am - 10:45 am Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
