Franklin Hurst

Mr. Franklin Dee Hurst, 81 of Dover, TN passed away at his residence Tuesday, August 15, 2023 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Lake County, TN on January 13, 1942, the beloved son of the late Alvin and Nora Coleman Hurst. Franklin loved the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He was a skilled welder in construction. Franklin proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Marshall, son; Jeremy Hurst of Paris, TN; daughters, Donna Cashion of Dover, TN; Cynthia Cole of Dresden, TN and Tammy Servin; 7 brothers and sisters; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to be announced at a later date.
