Francis Carson

Francis Eugene Carson, Jr., 58, Big Rock, died Monday, August 23, 2010, at Skyline Medical Center, Nashville, TN. The funeral will be held at 5:00 pm Wednesday at Stewart County High School with Glen J. Glenn and Jason Allison officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery, Big Rock. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday and from 4:00 - 5:00 pm Wednesday at Stewart County High School.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born May 29, 1952, in Louisiana, son of the late Francis Eugene, Sr. and Betty Jean Cherry Carson. Mr. Carson was a member of the Big Rock Church of Christ and was an Administrator at the Stewart County Board of Education. Survivors include his wife, Rosann Griggs Carson, children, Lee Carson, Big Rock, and Amy (Jason) Allison, Kingston Springs, TN, brother, David (Diane) Carson, Pleasant View, TN, and five grandchildren, Bailey, Brette, Sydney, Blake Michael, and Blake Easton. Pallbearers will be Junior Wallace, Eric Watkins, Jamie Bogard, Randall Redmon, Bailey Provo, and Blake Provo. Stewart County Board of Education Employees and Bus Drivers will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of memorials, donations may be made to the Big Rock Church of Christ, 139 James Wortham Rd. Big Rock, TN 37023.
