Mrs. Frances Ezell Morgan, fondly known as Fran, age 92, of Clarksville, TN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Tennessee State Veterans' Home, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Big Rock on July 21, 1934, the daughter of Alvin and Lucille Lewis.
Fran enjoyed life to the fullest and had a special gift for bringing smiles and happiness to her family, friends, and everyone she met. She loved to dance and was a member of the Clarksville Senior Citizens, where she enjoyed visiting with friends and listening to various musicians.
Fran was affectionately known as the "Pie Lady" because of her delicious homemade pies and the love she put into making them to share with family and friends. She also took an active part in the Meals on Wheels program, giving her time to help and serve others.
Fran loved the Lord and was a faithful and active member of New Providence Church of Christ. Her kind heart, joyful spirit, generous nature, and love for others will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Fran is preceded in death by her first husband, Elton Ezell; second husband, James Morgan; brothers, Jerry Lewis and Curtis Lewis; sisters, Janice Rappsis, Betty Robertson, Judy Madding, Anne Smith, Ruby Wright and Mae Sanders.
She leaves behind cherished family, sons, Michael Ezell (Joanne) and Barry Ezell (Valerie); daughter, Terry Ezell; sister, Brenda Mullins of Dover, TN; grandchildren, Francie Tierney (Wes), Lindsey De Jesus (Omar), Chad Ezell (Alisha), Trevor Ezell (Megan), and Brennan Thomas (Patrick); great-grandchildren, Carson, Emma, Cruz, Aubrey, Max, Eli and Ava.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026 beginning at 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 10:00 am and continue until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Bro. Phil Dunn officiating. She will be laid to rest by her first husband at Fort Donelson National Cemetery, Dover, TN. Serving as pallbearers are Michael and Barry Ezell, Trevor Ezell, Chad Ezell, Patrick Thomas, Wes Tierney, and Omar De Jesus.
