Frances Marie Schallock

Frances 'Marie' Schallock, age 90, of Big Rock, TN, passed away, Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Manor House of Dover. Marie was born October 23, 1924 in Columbus, GA. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, husbands, Dow George Ketch, Joe Ransdell, and Ray Schallock; and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brad Epperson to officiate. Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery, Big Rock, TN. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Marie loved to sing and draw. In fact many years ago she was on "Authur Godfrey's Talent Show". They asked her to come back and sing again, but her aunt (who was raising her) refused to let her go. Marie worked as a bartender for Johnny Powers on Cumberland Drive. She heard many stories from the rich and poor, she was a good listener.
Marie is survived by a daughter, Linda Taylor Pace, of Big Rock, and son George (Patsy) Ketch of Clarksville, six grandchildren, Tad (Pam) Ketch, Tammy (John) Shields, Terry (Ann) Ketch, Glenda Atkins, Frannie (Mike) Williams, Joe Taylor, 13 great grandchildren, Daniel and Wesley Ketch, Brandon Atkins, Brianna , Abigail, Averie, and Dixie Taylor, Jack, Emma, and Georgia Shields, David, Lauren, and Hannah Ketch, and one great-great granddaughter, Charlee Ketch.
