Flora Shelton

Ms. Flora V. Shelton, age 84 passed away December 2, 2022. She was born in Kingsport, TN on November 19, 1938 the beloved daughter of the late Wiley and Mona Vaughn. Flora worked many years in human resources. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed cooking and having her family together.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Daniel Ray Shelton; brothers, Dallas Vaughn and Coy Vaughn.

She is survived by her son, Mark Shelton (Gabriela) of San Diego, CA; daughter, Debbie Walters (Ken) of Overton, NV; brother, Gary Vaughn (Betty Ann) of SC; sister, Tara Vaughn Byington of Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Justin, Rachel, Devon and Eden; great- grandchildren, Olivia and Everly Ray.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and continue until the hour of the funeral service. Burial will follow at Crow Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
