Evalyn Playford

Evalyn Dora Playford, 88, Dover, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at her residence. The remains are to be cremated. No services are planned. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born October 16, 1922 in Dewey, OK daughter of the late Harry and Eva Laughlin Conner. Mrs. Playford was retired telephone operator supervisor. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Playford, Jr. Survivors include her sons, Stephen R. Playford, James L. Playford, and Darrell L. Playford; daughters, Katherine L. Playford-Hinderliter; brothers, Harry F. Conner, Billie J. Conner, Donald D. Conner; sisters, Barbara S. Johnson, Marjorie E. Burchett, Juanita N. Harris, Erma J. Jarnigan, Bonnie r. Muir, Flora J. Cummins and Ila K. Riley; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
