Eva Burns

Eva J. Burns, age 87, of Bumpus Mills, TN, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Manor House of Dover. Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, with Bro. Steve Littleton and her grandson Daniel Burns officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Cross Creek Baptist Church immediately following the graveside service.
Eva was born July 9, 1927, daughter of the late Jim and Elma Harris Ezell. She worked as a seamstress before retiring. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gilvie Burns, and son, Larry Burns. She is survived by her grandson, Daniel Burns of Indian Mound, TN, brother, Milford Ezell of Bumpus Mills, TN, and daughter-in-law, Nadine Burns, Indian Mound. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cross Creek Baptist Church, Indian Mound.
