Emma Jean Harris, 83 of Dover, TN passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Paris Healthcare and Rehab, Paris, TN. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with visitation from 12-2:00 pm. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born June 22, 1932 in Clarksville, TN daughter of the late Eugene and Martha Hembee Carpenter. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Harris and five siblings. Survivors include her son, Wesley Harris (Carolyn Harris), Clarksville, TN, daughters, Joan Meadows (Rufus Edwards), Indianapolis, IN, Carolyn Buchanan (Jessie Buchanan), New Johnsonville, TN, Jennifer Wiseman (Tameakia Wiseman), Yorktown, VA, twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
