Elizabeth Wallace

Ms. Elizabeth Wallace, age 96 of Big Rock, TN was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Signature Homecare, Clarksville, TN. She was born on March 7, 1927 in Stewart County, TN. She is the beloved daughter of the late John Gilbert and Creola Sally Ralls Taylor. Ms. Elizabeth enjoyed working in her yard, flower gardens and canning vegetables. She had a special love for each of her family members. She treasured family get togethers. She loved the Lord and was a very active member in her church since childhood, Taylor Chapel Church of God in Big Rock.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Marvin Cordell Wallace; brothers, Roy and Bill Taylor and sister, Helen Williams.

She is survived by her loving family, whom will miss her dearly, children; Dale Wallace (Margaret) of Big Rock, TN; Betty Downs (Richard) of Clarksville, TN; Patsy Taylor (Ronnie) of Charleston, SC and Sandra Evans (Don, deceased) of Clarksville, TN; 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00 am and continue until the hour of the funeral service at 12:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. William Gray and Bro. Kylan Mann officiating. Family members, Josh Toney and Amy Wallace will also provide special tributes. Burial will follow at Taylor Chapel Cemetery, Big Rock, TN. Those serving as pallbearers are Michael Toney, Josh Toney, Landon Keatts, Jason Nash, Gage Burkhart, Charles Smith, Chris Toney and Kenny Wallace.
