Edward Pulley

Edward Lynn Pulley, with 68 years of life, passed away on Sunday afternoon. Edward, known to most as "Eddie," was born on March 9, 1952 to Charles & Virgina (Black) Pulley in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up in Erin, TN and resided in Cunningham, TN. Eddie was saved by faith on January 24, 1980, and that faith became sight on January 24, 2021. His family can find comfort in knowing that when Eddie left the arms of his wife of nearly 50 years, Lillian, he was instantly recieved into the arms of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Eddie enjoyed being outdoors & enjoying nature in every way. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, riding four- wheelers, & tinkering on the farm. The thing that brought Eddie the most pride & joy was his big & beautiful family. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, & great grandchildren, and they loved him back! His family & friends knew there was no one like him. He was full of life, and brought laughter wherever he went. You knew Eddie loved you if he teased or aggravated you. He loved bigger than life! He had a heart for anyone who was in need. He was loving & kind, giving & generous, and always willing to help in actions. In addition to his parents, Eddie is preceded in death by his brother Mike Pulley, (uncle) William H. Pulley, (in-laws) Orbria & Carlene Smith, (son-in-law) Gayln Cross, and (granddaughter) Grace Pulley. Eddie is survived by his beloved & adoring wife, Lillian (Smith) Pulley, his children: Edie Cross Watson, Ed (Tonya) Pulley, Pennie (Justin) Sloan, his grandchildren: Lily (Andrew), David (Heather), Morgan (Nick), Madelyn (Troy), Paul (Emma), Alexa (Nate), Trinity, Luke, Jack, Scarlett, Savannah, William, & Joseph, his great grandchildren: Tristen, Elijah, Layten, Ellis, Preston, Norah, Colton, with two more on the way, and his siblings: Shirley (Jimmy) Harris, Debbie (Billy) Surrett, and Pamela (Tim) Brown.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 1:30 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel. Serving as pallbearers will be David Cross, Paul Cross, Luke Watson, Jack Pulley, Andrew Ferst, Nick Peters, Troy LeClaire and Nate Bumpus. Officiating the service will be Bro. William Gray and Bro. Matt Harris. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN.
