Edward Lamar Burdett, 84 of Dover, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at his residence. Private funeral services were held at Anglin Funeral Home with Virgil Bishop officiating. Burial was in the Wofford Cemetery. Anglin Funeral Home was in of arrangements.
He was born May 12, 1932 in Kentucky son of the late Otha and Emma Woods Burdett. Mr. Burdett was a retired U.S. Navy Korean veteran and retired Industrial Maintence Instructor at Paris Vo-Tech school. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Darrell Burdett, brothers, Charles, Tom and Gene Burdett and sister, Wanda Childress. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Fae Byrd Burdett, Dover, TN, daughter, Cheryl Shobe(Tim), Paris, TN, two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
