Edna Anderson

Edna Marie Dennis Anderson, 82, Dover, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Signature Health Care, Erin, TN. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Tim McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday and from 10:00 am until the hour of service Monday at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Anderson was born January 14, 1928 in Stewart County daughter of the late, John, Sr. and Etha May Joiner Dennis. She was a Baptist and worked at the Homeplace in Land Between the Lakes. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William Garland Anderson. Survivors include her children, Diana Bridges and husband Vic, Knoxville, and David Anderson and wife Nellie, Dover; grandchildren, Laurie Parker, Windemere, FL, Chris Bridges, Clearwater, FL, Susan Porter, Knoxville, and Marla Anderson, Clarksville; Great-grandchildren, Ashley, Riley, Reese, and Reagan Parker and Ashton Bridges; brothers, Bobby Dennis, Dover, Floyd Dennis, Smyrna, Johnny Dennis, Jr., Tennessee Ridge, and William Dennis, Sutter, CA; sisters, Barbara Baran, Smyrna, and Brooksie Brake, Dover. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
