Eddie Newberry

Eddie Wayne Newberry, age 75, of Indian Mound, TN, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. He was born on January 26, 1950, the beloved son of the late Lynn Henry and Maggie Pulley Newberry.

Eddie was a hardworking man who dedicated his career as a handyman at Brigham Hardware for many years. He was loved and respected by all for his willingness and courtesy in helping others. A devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend, Eddie touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Teddy Newberry, and sister, Mary Gregg-Hernandez.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: daughters, Diana Litteral (Paul) and Amy Dennis (Kevin); son, Shawn Newberry (Amanda); sisters, Carolyn Cottrell (Carl) and Brenda Lombardo; nephew and best friend, Kevin Myers; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Anglin Funeral Home, beginning at 12:30 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., with Bro. Carl Newberry officiating. Burial will follow at Gregg Family Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
