Eddie Earhart

Cecil Edward `Eddie` Earhart, 70, Dover, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. David Whitehead and Rev. Steve Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Heflin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9am - 12pm Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Oct. 2, 1940 in Stewart Co., TN son of Cecil E. Earhart, Sr. and Lottie Jewell Williams Lewis. Mr. Earhart was a retired lumber grader. He is preceded in death by a brother, Bracey Earhart. In addition to his parents both of Dover, TN, survivors include his wife, Alice Williams Earhart, Dover; sons, Glenn Earhart and Tim Griffin, both of Dover; daughter, Debbie Whitten, Dover; brothers, Arthur Monroe Lewis and Tony Earhart, both of Dover; sisters, Rita Welker and Freda Ford, both of Dover; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Keith Whitten, Matthew Earhart, Matthew Lewis, Cole Earhart, Ryan Griffin, Adam Cathey and Darren Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Hicks, Larry Earhart and Paul Williams.
