Ed Lemons

Ed Lemons, 82 of Dover, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Houston Co. Community Hospital, Erin, TN. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 11:30 am- 1:30 pm at Anglin Funeral Home.

He was born June 21, 1932 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Everette and Clatie Pulley Lemons. Mr. Lemons was a retired supervisor from TVA, U.S. Navy Korean conflict veteran and a lifetime member of the Dover VFW. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step daughter, Vonda Hunter, brothers, Ray Lemons and Frank "Buddy" Lemons and sisters, Willene Armstrong, Annie Ruth Lemons and Johnny Mathis. Survivors include his wife, Janie Welker Lemons, Dover, TN, step sons, Jerry Lynn Dodd, Bumpus Mills, TN and Stacy Boyd, Dover, TN, brothers, James Lemons, Clarksville, TN and Reams Lemons, Dover, TN, sister, Mary Warfield, Dover, TN, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers will be William Warfield, Steve Dortch, Jerry Lynn Dodd, Preston Dodd, Terry Lemons and Tommy Welker.
