Ed Bogard

Ed Hobart Bogard, 82 of Dover, TN passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Henry Co. Medical Center. He was born March 4, 1934 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Harvey Houston Bogard and Treva Gibson Bogard. Mr. Bogard was a real estate broker, an auctioneer, a farmer and a mason. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Atkins Bogard. Survivors include his son, Louis Bogard (Starla), Pinson, TN and grandchildren, Karina Marie Bogard and Valerie Lynn Bogard,
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Ron Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 5-8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with a masonic service at 7:00 pm and on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 10-11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tim Borens, Willie Atkins, Frank Miller, Mark Morton, Steve Hudson, Tim Atkins and Roy Tolbert. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Pruitt, Cecil Earhart, Charles McGee, Larry Edmondson, Gerald Campbell, Pat Bagsby, Tillman Paschall and Marsha Steele.
