Earlene Shepherd

Minnie Earlene Shepherd, 88, Indian Mound, died Monday, July 5, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 10:00 am Thursday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Dunaway officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound. Visitation will be from 5:00 -8:00 pm Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born Dec. 30, 1921 in Indian Mound, TN daughter of the late Lawrence and Flora Norfleet Lehman. Mrs. Shepherd was a homemaker and a retired factory worker and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Smith Shepherd, her brother, Maxwell Lehman and son-in-law, Kenneth Austin. Survivors include her daughters, Judy Austin Griffin (Joe), Indian Mound and Gayle Lee (Danny), Dover; grandchildren, Kevin Austin(Amy), Barry Austin(Kim), Bethany Bouder(Mike); great grandchildren, Parker Austin, Katie Austin, Sydnee Bouder, Nicholas Bouder, Fallon Austin; sisters, Thelma Jackson and Nell Poston, both of Clarksville, TN. Pallbearers will be family.
