Mrs. Eadie Ann Knight, age 80, of Bumpus Mills, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, after a long illness. Born on March 27, 1944, in Stewart County, she was the cherished daughter of Carter and Catherine Page.
Mrs. Eadie was a devoted mother and grandmother who found joy in the company of her family. She often gathered loved ones around her table, sharing laughter and delicious home-cooked meals. Eadie's warmth extended beyond her family; she had a special love for children and dedicated many years to running a home daycare, creating a nurturing environment for countless little ones.
Mrs. Eadie had a passion for singing, a beautiful voice and a strong commitment to her faith. She was part of a gospel quartet, ‘The Gospel Four’. It allowed her a wonderful way for her to share her love of singing and praising the Lord in song while uplifting others in her community. Her dedication as a faithful servant at Pugh Flat Baptist Church speaks to her character and the impact she made in the lives of those around her.
Mrs. Eadie is remembered for her kindness, her generous spirit, and her unwavering love for those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a family that will continue to honor her values of love and togetherness.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Eadie is preceded in death by her loving husband; ‘JC’ John C. Knight, Jr.; precious daughter, Charity Knight; cherished granddaughter, Nikki Renz and nine brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children; Hope Renz and Faith Clatterbuck (Alan); grandchildren; Nathan Knight, Josh Renz and Paige Tidrow; her best friend, Molly Deason; a beloved dog, Mikey and many friends who will miss her dearly.
A visitation will be held at Anglin Funeral Home on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 11:00 am until 11:45 am followed by the graveside service at 12:00 pm located at the Page Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Reynolds officiating. Serving as pallbearers, Mathew Drewyor, Nathan Knight, Nick Durrett, Kesley Page, Josh Renz and Nicholas Hicks. Honorary pallbearers are Alan Clatterbuck and Josh Porter.
