Dylan Taylor Craig, 26, of Dover, Tenn. passed away peacefully on January 19, 2019 at St. Thomas Rutherford Medical Center, Murfreesboro, Tenn., surrounded by his loving family.
Dylan was born on April 26, 1992 in Jackson, Tenn. and despite his disabilities, he lived his life to the fullest. He was a proud 2014 graduate of Stewart County High School in Dover, Tenn., where he also worked in the office and was a favorite among faculty, staff and students. He loved being a Rebel.

Dylan loved his Dover community and embraced the support he received from his friends and family there. He was an active member of the community, where he enjoyed attending Stewart County High School athletic events, working at Mama Mea’s, getting a trim at Barrow’s Barber Shop and attending local parades, events and festivals. Dylan also loved the outdoors and spent many days fishing and kayaking on local lakes, rivers and creeks. Additionally, Dylan loved his University of Tennessee Volunteers, eating good food (especially spaghetti), watching movies, playing PS4 and good times spent with family and friends. Dylan never met a stranger and brought light and joy to everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.

Dylan is survived by his father, Bruce Craig (Andrea) of Dover, Tenn., his mother, Lisa Blankenship Craig Pugh (Glen) of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and his maternal grandmother, Nancy Stewart Blankenship of Memphis, Tenn. Dylan also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly and have been blessed by and inspired by the way he lived his life.

Dylan is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Loretta Craig and by his maternal grandfather, Reverend Dr. Paul Blankenship.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Anglin Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Keel officiating.
