Drue Shepherd

Mr. Drue Shepherd, age 58, of Indian Mound, TN passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at his home. He was born September 13, 1965 in Clarksville, TN, son of the late Hulin Drue Shepherd, Sr. and Carolyn Sue Wiggins Shepherd.

Drue was an employee of the Stewart County Highway Department, where he had thirty years of friendship with his collogues during that time. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gary and father-in-law, Jim Rippy. He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Melinda Dacus Shepherd; children, Lee (Cale), Jeremiah (Allison), Eli, and Caleb (Crysta); grandchildren, Malachi, Aviva, Maize, Noah, Finn, and Kennely; siblings Lisa, Jimmy and Allen; mother-in-law, Rhoda Rippy; nine nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10:30 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Wyatt’s Chapel Church with Bro. Gary Dacus and Bro. Gary Wallace officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
