Dorothy Wilkerson

Dorothy Mildred Wilkerson, age 90, of Dover, passed away, Friday, May 3, 2013, at Signature Health Care, Columbia, TN. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home with Johnny Polk and James Boren to officiate, burial will follow at the Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home and from 12:00 until the time of service Monday. She was born June 2, 1922, in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Millard Whitney and Jesse Parker Miles. Mrs. Wilkerson was a seamstress and a member of the Dover Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil J. Wilkerson, brother, Robert Miles, and sister, Edith Ernst. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Brown (Joel), Columbia, TN, grandsons, Joel Brown (Tina), Elmhurst, IL, Tim Brown, Parkland, FL, great grandsons, Joshua Brown, Parkland, FL, and Grayson Miles Brown, Elmhurst IL. Pallbearers will be Mike Futrell, Bryan Sills, Bishop Futrell, Jeff Knott, and Marty Blane.
