Dorothy Anne Fittery, 85, Indian Mound, died Monday, February 8, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at Anglin Funeral Home with Mike Howard officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be from 4-7:00 pm Friday and from 10-11:00 am Saturday at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born May 3, 1924 in Detroit, MI. Mrs. Fittery was a homemaker, devoted member of the Indian Mound United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband, Warren Fittery; son, Robert Glenn Fittery (Sheila), Bumpus Mills; daughters, Joan Fittery, MN, Barbara Hitchcock (Phil), CA, Mary Cobb (Rex), TX; sister, Betty Meteyer, MI; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
