Doris Thweatt

Mr. Doris Thweatt, 75 of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 in Clarksville, TN. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Steve Murphree, Jerry Harwell and Maxie Milliken officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunbar Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 4-7:00 pm and on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 11:00 am until the hour of service. A masonic service at 7:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born on July 20, 1938 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Nelson and Lena Elliott Thweatt. Mr. Thweatt was a retired crane operator, member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church and a 50+ years master mason with the #761 masonic lodge of Clarksville, TN. Survivors include his wife, Gail Norfleet Thweatt, Clarksville, TN, daughters, Donna (Billy)Davis, Clarksville, TN, Barbara Sampson, Goodlettsville, TN, Brenda (Daniel) Rye, Clarksville, TN, Angela (Larry) Lay, Clarksville, TN, sister, Patsy Micholes, Clarksville, TN, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons in law. Honorary pallbearers will be Lloyd Webb, Scott Harrison, Delma Atkins and Charles Walker. In lieu of other memorials, donations may be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 380 Dover Rd., Clarksville, TN 37042 or the Dunbar Chapel Cemetery.
