Donnie Watkins

Mr. Donald “Donnie” Ray Watkins, age 79, of Bumpus Mills, TN, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Diversicare of Dover. He was born March 15, 1940 in Granite City, IL, son of the late Boyd and Carlene Lewis Watkins. Mr. Watkins retired from Trane Co. after 36 years of service and he served on the Stewart County Fire and Rescue Board for 15 years.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Kay Watkins, sons, Donald Watkins (Suzanne), Bumpus Mills, TN, Eric Watkins (Robyn), Bumpus Mills, grandchildren, Robbie Kissinger (Cindy), Wesley Myers, Lauren Myers, great grandchildren, Ruthie Kay Kissinger, Cade Ernsberger, Sarah Ernsberger, Ben Ernsberger, and brother, Freddie Watkins, Clarksville, TN.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 22, 2019 at the Morgan Cemetery, with Rev. Joshua Colson and Rev. Steve Phillips officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 10:45 am at the Brandon Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Robbie Kissinger, Wesley Myers, Joshua Colson, Bobby Gillum, Gene Knight, Joe Mathis, and Steve Phillips.
