Donnie Ray Parker

Donnie Ray Parker, age 82 of Dover, TN passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at West Tennessee Healthcare Henry County Hospital, Paris, TN. 

He was born on February 16, 1944 in Clarksville, TN son of the late Jessie 'Buck' and Dolly Parker. Mr. Parker retired from TVA where he worked as a boiler maker and he was currently working as a convenience center attendant at Bi-County Solid Waste Management.

Donnie is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nelda Parker; children, Donnie Parker, II (Dottie), Darin Parker (Angie), and Danielle Parker (Tyler Roberts); grandchildren, Allison Parker (Jake Williams), Miranda Anglin (Landon), Lindsey Taylor (Jason), Darin Parker, II (Carman), Jessica Jackson, Haley Camper (Jimmy), Shawn Burkhart, Mark Anthony Baird, and Alice Roberts; great grandchildren, Sunny and Parker Taylor, Bayler Burkhart, Ariella Parker (arriving September 2026), and Lucas Camper (arriving January 2027); sisters, Ophelia Mathis, LaJuana Crose, and Barbara Horton.

Visitation for Mr. Parker will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home and will continue on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 9:00 am until the time of service. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Anglin Funeral Home with Mitchell Burkhart to officiate. Burial will follow in the Parker Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darin Parker, II, Shawn Burkhart, Jimmy Camper, Mike Nolen, Donnie Wilson, and Quinn Garner.
