Donnie Nolen

February 13, 1943 — January 3, 2018

Mr. Donnie Jess Nolen, age 74, of Cumberland City, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his home. He was born February 13, 1943, in Trenton, KY, son of the Late Eugene Nolen and Ethel Moore Nolen Gunson. Mr. Nolen was a member of Pauls Chapel United Methodist Church and he retired from TVA.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Jim Gunson, and brother, Billy Nolen.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Peggy Milliken Nolen, daughter, Lisa Nolen Hall, Cumberland City, TN, and grandson, Dustin Lewis, Cumberland City, TN.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 pm Saturday, at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Garrette Milliken and Rev. Bob Herndon officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday at Anglin Funeral Home and from 10:00 am until the time of service Saturday. Pallbearers will be Danny Dye, Michael Summers, Mark Milliken, Geoff Abbot, Freddy Jones, Terry Jones, and Chuck Howard.
Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
