Donna Ward

Mrs. Donna Jo Ward, age 64, of Dover, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024. She was born on June 23, 1960, in Blytheville, AR, to the late Donald R. Riggs and Barbara Jo Murray Riggs.

Donna was a gifted painter with a deep love for animals. However, her greatest joy came from her family. She was a devoted wife, an amazing mother, and a beloved grandmother whose love knew no bounds.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her daughter, Abby Shope.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Dale Ward; children, Adam (Denielle) Johnson, Deana (Chris) Robinson, Daniel Maiolo, and Cathy Joy Ward; grandchildren, Gage Johnson, Josephine Robinson, and Monroe Robinson; brothers, Donald (Cheryl) Riggs, Jr. and Keith (Cindy) Riggs; and son-in-law, Seth Shope.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Anglin Funeral Home. Bro. George Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will include her family: Adam Johnson, Daniel Maiolo, Keith Riggs, Donald Riggs, Chris Robinson, and Seth Shope.

In place of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Dover, located at 533 Honey Fork Rd., Indian Mound, TN 37079. These contributions are distributed to various animal organizations throughout Stewart County.
