Donald Thomason

Donald Ray Thomason, age 69 of Dover, TN passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at his residence. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 25, at the Mount View Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bro. Burgess officiating, burial to follow at Mount View Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 24, from 4-8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home and from 12:00pm until the time of service at Mount View Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was born September 28, 1944 in Paris, TN, son of the late Allen "Buck" Thomason and Lockey Fitzhugh Thomason. He was a retired crane operator for Shell Oil Co. He is proceeded in death by his father, Allen "Buck" Thomason and mother Lockey Fitzhugh Thomason, his brothers, Freeman Thomason, Milford Thomason, and sisters, Maudie Doyle, Alene Roberston, Gatice Parrish, and Sallie Ann Newman. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Hindman Thomason, sons Allen Ray (Stacy) Thomason, BunkerHill, IL; Daniel (Meredith) Thomason, Dover, TN; brother Eugene Thomason, Edwardsville, IL; sisters, Virginia Joiner, Dover, TN; Nona Harris, Dover, TN; Margie Wallace and Marcellia Doyle both of Granite City, IL. and grandchildren Allen Jr., Donny, Joe, and Kris.
