Dollie Parker

Mrs. Dollie Parker, age 98 of Dover, TN passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Tennova Heathcare of Clarksville after a long and happy life. She was born July 13, 1922 to the late Cleveland Earl Myers and Ethel Reynolds Myers.

Mrs. Parker was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Jessie (Buck) Parker on December 22, 1939. Dollie was preceded in death by her beloved husband. Her family finds peace in knowing that they are reunited in heaven.

Mrs. Parker was the eldest sibling, but was preceded in death by her 6 brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Parker was known by all who knew and loved her as a strong woman of faith who loved God and her family. She attended the First Church of God. Her happiest moments were surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful cook who loved to cook for her family and friends. Those who knew her best, picture her in the kitchen cooking and singing gospel songs. She loved to make people laugh. Her grandchildren can share many stories of her pulling pranks and laughing endlessly.

She is survived by her children, Donnie Parker, Sr. (Nelda), Ophelia Mathis, Barbara Horton (Robert) and LaJuana Fieder, 11 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Taylor's Cemetery, Big Rock, with Rev. Del Morgan officiating.
