Dion Rushing

Mr. Dion Rushing, age 52 of Dover, TN passed away suddenly Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Tennova Medical Center in Clarksville, TN. He was born October 2, 1970 in Clarksville, TN the son of Marvin and Barbara McMillan Rushing. Dion was a graduate of Stewart County High School. Dion enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He passion was mud racing with his family and friends. Dion never met a stranger and enjoyed passing the time talking and exchanging stories with his buddies.

He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Rushing and granddaughter; Brooklyn Lancaster.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving and caring wife he married May 27, 1997, Amy Etherton Rushing, son; Austin Rushing of Dover, TN, Brittany Nichole Rushing (boyfriend; Tyler Stevens) of Clarksville, TN, mother; Barbara Rushing of Dover, TN, sister; Dana Rushing (fiancé; Michael Rimmer) of Dover, TN, nephew; Tyler Rye and faithful pups; Bandit and Duke.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Mathis officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 28 and will continue on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service at Anglin Funeral Home. Those serving as pallbearers are Stacy Grizzard, John Milliken, Chris Summers, John Wilkerson, Corey Etherton, Jacob Etherton, Tyler Rye and Tyler Stevens. Honorary pallbearers are Dwayne “Scrapper” Rushing, James Compton and Travis Compton.
