Dianne Simpson

Mrs. Dianne M. Simpson, age 76, of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Tennova Healthcare Clarksville. She was born on August 29, 1948, in San Diego, CA, to the late Edward Hicks and Barbara Phife Hicks.

Dianne was a creative soul who loved crafting, particularly making gnomes, and she found joy in baking with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished traveling with her husband and found deep fulfillment in spending time with her family. A devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Dianne also enjoyed the fellowship of her Bunco Group. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Hicks.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Kenneth Simpson; children, Jamie A. Simpson of Waverly, Matthew Simpson (Jennifer) of Erin, and Ashlynn Hamm (Jameson) of Dover; grandchildren, Christopher Simpson of Waverly, Cheyenne Lane of Waverly, Connor Simpson of Erin, and Kennedi Simpson of Erin; as well as great-grandchildren, Weston Simpson, Abilene Hamm, and Waylon Hamm all of Dover.

A memorial service to honor Dianne’s life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 9:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Dover, TN. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, KY.
