Mrs. Denise Mae Wiegger Roberts was an active spokesperson for the powerful impact organ donation can have for those who are seeking life-saving organs. After being the recipient of a donated organ, Denise spent the next 23 years speaking with students and the community to help educate others on how organ donation changes and saves lives. Even in her death she was able to give the gift of sight, touch, and ability to walk.
