Denise Powers

Denise Renee Powers, 47, Indian Mound, TN passed away Thursday, February 16th, 2012 at Blanchfield Army Hospital, Fort Campbell, KY after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Dyer’s Creek Church of God with Rev. Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at the Hall Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be Sunday, February 19th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home, and also 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Dyer’s Creek Church of God. Denise was born February 23rd , 1964, in Clear Lake, Iowa, daughter of Dale and Janice Clapper, who reside in Clear Lake, Iowa. Denise had may loves including caring for her family, painting, photography and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed rescuing animals and caring for her many pets. Denise leaves behind many loved ones including her husband, Jeff Powers; daughters, Alicia Powers and Christina Fisher; son in-law, James Fisher; granddaughters, Emma Fisher and Zoey Powers, all of Indian Mound, TN; brothers, David Clapper and Chad Clapper, of Clear Lake, Iowa. Denise will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate to have shared in her life. We know she now watches over each of her loved ones, from her special spot in heaven.
