Delano Grasty

Delano Robinson Grasty, 74 of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Mike Howard and Rev. Johnny Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Seay Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 4-8:00 pm with a masonic service at 7:00 pm and on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 10-11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home.
He was born December 15, 1940 in Indian Mound., TN son of the late Buford and Mina Robinson Grasty. Mr. Grasty was a manager at Montgomery Wards, a farmer, a member and superintendent of the Indian Mound United Methodist Church, member of Indian Mound Masonic Lodge #303 and a member of the Stewart Co. School Board for 30+ years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, James B. Grasty, Bobby Grasty and sisters, Myrtle Grasty and Ida Speight. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Helen Downs Grasty, Indian Mound, TN, sons, Brian Grasty (Debbie), Indian Mound, TN, Philip Grasty (Becky), Indian Mound, TN, sister, Manie Speight, Clarksville, TN, grandchildren, Margaret Gregg, Thomas Grasty, Seth Grasty, Sarah Grasty, Alex Voss and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Marty, Thomas, Seth and Sarah Grasty, Margaret and Mitch Gregg and Alex Voss. In lieu of other memorials, donations may be made to the Indian Mound United Methodist Church, c/o Philip Grasty, 3140 Hwy 79, Indian Mound, TN 37079.
