Debra Lynn Johnson Shelton, age 71, of Dover, TN passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. She was born on November 8, 1953, in Newbern, TN. Debra had a deep passion for her work as an interpreter with the school system, where she made a meaningful impact. In her leisure time, she found great joy playing her mountain dulcimer. Debra was a devoted member of Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Shane Johnson.
Debra leaves behind her loving family: her husband, William Andrew ‘Andy’ Shelton; daughters, Unsula Lekka (George) and Michelle Newman; brother, Terry Chanden; and grandchildren, Athena and Lorelei.
In accordance with Debra’s wishes, she will be cremated.
