Mitchell `Dean` Elliott, 78, Dover, died Saturday, October 9, 2010, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Anglin Funeral Home, Inc. with Bro. Paul Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Heflin cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A. M. till time of services Monday at Anglin Funeral Home at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born in Stewart County to the late Jesse and Myrtle France Elliott. He was a brick and block layer, and a member of the New Haven Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Wyatt Elliott, sons, Kenny (Peggy), Clarksville, Barry (April), Dover, Darrin (Tammy), Big Rock, daughter, Sherry (Keith) Hefley, Willow Springs, MO., grandchildren Terry and Celenia Dennis, Christopher, James, Kerrsti, Gunner, Molly, Hadlee, Annsley Elliott and Mallory Elliott (Michael) Goodwin and Great-Grandchildren Emily Jackson, Isiah Kirby and 4 others. Pallbears are Terry Dennis, Truman Miller, Chris, James, Gunner, Dotson Elliott.
