Mr. Darwin Raleigh, age 83, of Dover, TN, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at his home, with family by his side. He was born February 19, 1940 in Cumberland, KY, son of the late Sylvan and Viola Raleigh.
He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Mr. Raleigh proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War and he retired after 22 years of service. He was a member of the Rose Valley Church, Indian Mound, TN.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Raleigh and Kenneth Raleigh and sister, Wanda Raleigh.
He is survived by his loving children, Kimberly Keel (Randy) and Jason Raleigh; grandchildren, Elliot Keel (Loren), Stacy Mobley (John), Joseph Raleigh, Jacob Raleigh, Emily Raleigh, and Jimmy Raleigh, great grandchildren, Jaxon Thomas and Lennox Mobley; brothers, Edward Raleigh, Cecil Raleigh (Kim), and Larry Raleigh (Trish); and sisters, Audry Lloyd, Jeanne Cherry (Norman), and Lannis Blunk (Jim).
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Rose Valley Church.
