Daren Taylor

Daren Taylor passed away Monday night December 13, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tn. Daren was the son of Janet and Tony Riggins, and Frank Taylor of Big Rock. He was a Sherriff Deputy with the Stewart County Sheriff department. While working with the Sheriff department; Daren was a Sheriff Resource Office at the Stewart County School Systems.He was an avid coon hunter and a commercial fisherman in his spare time. He was widely known within the school systems by not only the teachers and faculty, but mostly by the students. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by grandparents Ed and Lucille Coats of Dover and Luther Taylor of Big Rock. He is survived by mother Janet Riggins, stepfather Tony Riggins, father Frank Taylor, and Grandmother Stella Taylor; also by his three children Aaron Taylor, Cameron Taylor, Kathlyn Taylor and two brothers, Frankie Ed Taylor and Wendell Taylor. Services will be at the Stewart County High School on Friday December 17, 2010, from 11:30-1:00 p.m. Funeral services will also be held on December 17, 2010, at 1:00 p.m.
