Dalton Atkins

Mr. Dalton Atkins, age 78, of Indian Mound, Tennessee, passed away on March 2, 2026, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Clarksville with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 14, 1947, the beloved son of Douglas and Bonnie Louise Wofford Atkins.

Dalton had a deep love for the land and working outdoors. He was a dedicated and hardworking farmer, well known for the fine crops he harvested throughout the years. He took great pride in gardening and found joy in sharing his produce with family and good neighbors.

He was a devoted son, husband, brother, and uncle who treasured the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, June Atkins, and his sister, Wanda Hill.

Dalton is survived by his sisters, Betty McKee of Selmer, Tennessee, and Elizabeth Price (Mark) of Indian Mound, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Lowell Hill of Indian Mound, Tennessee, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Dalton's wishes, he will be cremated.
