Daisy Atkins

Daisy Earlene Atkins, 82, Dover, TN passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 at Patient’s Choice Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Johnny Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. She was born March 17, 1929 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late James C. and Mary Josephine Rippy Smith. Mrs. Atkins was a homemaker and a member of Bumpus Mills Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Glen Atkins and a son, James Thomas Atkins. Survivors include her children, Larry Atkins, Glenda Austin, Kathy Atkins, Janice Robinson, Randy Atkins and Cindy Koontz, all of Dover; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Larry Atkins, Kathy Atkins, Janice Robinson, Randy Atkins, Cindy Koontz, Robin Robinson, Glenda Austin and James Pellum.
