Cora Ross

Cora Pauline Ross, 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2014 in Oak Ridge, TN, with her daughter and faithful niece, Molly Chambers by her side.
Pauline was born August 24, 1918, a daughter of the late Willie and Molly Luton. She married the late Reuben Gray Ross in December 1939. Pauline was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Reuben Ross in 1990; her devoted son, Lt. William Gray Ross in 1968; siblings, Elvin Luton, Mae Taylor, and Wilton Luton.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by daughter, Datha Corbitt of Oak Ridge, TN; granddaughters, Kim Thomas and Cheryl Bales; great grandchildren, Austin Thomas, Hannah Thomas, and Chloe Bales; sisters, Thelma Castile, Frances Swafford, and Rouine Luton; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 12:00 pm with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN. Interment will follow at the Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens.
