Conroy Birdsong

Mr. Conroy Birdsong, age 77, of Murray, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at his home. He was born September 4, 1940 in Trigg County, Kentucky, son of the late Roy and Velma Turner Birdsong. Mr. Birdsong was a farmer and commercial fisherman.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, James E. Birdsong, F.M. Birdsong, and Bill Birdsong, sisters, Diane Higgins, Kay Wright, and two infant sisters.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Ocie Downs Birdsong, daughters, Delores Lane (Ronnie), Murray, KY, Barbara Estes, Lawrenceburg, KY, Connie Sue Birdsong, Murray, KY, brothers, Donnie Birdsong, Hardin, KY, Ronnie Birdsong, Murray, KY, Vondia Colson, Murray, KY, Dorothy Stroupe, Hardin, KY, six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie BurKeen officiating. Burial will be in the Hicks Cemetery, LBL. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Tommy Lane, Michael O’Bryan, Jessie Reynolds, Tommy Elkins, Charles B. McKinney, and Dale Graves.
Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
