Christine Odom - 1917 Christine `Tennie` Odom, 92, Dover, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at Manor House of Dover. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Hildreth Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Saturday and from 12:00 to 2:00 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 30, 1917 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late John and Lottie Powers Gray. Mrs. Odom was a Baptist and worked in many factories throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lewis Odom and a brother, Eugene Gray. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Junior and Loretta Odom, Dover; grandchildren, Larry Odom (Verna), Erin, Melinda Townsend (Dale), Atwood, Teresa Spiceland (Tennyson), Dover, Mark Odom (Michelle), Dover; six great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jereme Odom, Cody Townsend, Jake Spiceland, Larry Gray, Tommy Beechum, Stacy Beechum and honorary pallbearer, Kevin Beechum.
