Christean Lawrence

Hettie Christean Lawrence, age 83, of Dover, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015, at her home. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, April 20, 2015 at Anglin Funeral Home with Daniel Doss officiating, burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery, Big Rock, TN. Visitation will be from 12:00 until the time of service Monday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Lawrence was born December 25, 1931 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Sam and Birtha Hembree Rittenberry. She was a cancer survivor and never met an obstacle should could not overcome. She was Nanny, to her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Corbett Knott, second husband, George Lawrence, children, Linda Keever, Shirley Tippit, Freddie Page, sisters, Annie Ray Hayden, Marie Keatts, and brother, Wilber Rittenberry. Survivors include her grandchildren, Cathy Hawes, Brian Welker, Emily Doss, Erica Killius, Patrick Tippit, 16 great grandchildren, sister, Edna Stagner, and brother, Dan Rittenberry.
