Chester Gray

Mr. Frank Chester Gray, Sr. age 93 of Rockville, MD passed away on June 6, 2023 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Stewart County, TN on December 31, 1929. His is the beloved son of the late George and Annie Hilmus Gray. He was a hard worker and provider for his family, working for Civil Service until retirement. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and loyal friend to many.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Ruth Jean Gray; brothers, Thorton Gray, Lathan Gray, Russell Gray, Elden Gray, Wilford Gray, and sisters, Bernice Gray and Violet Gray Crowe.

He is survived by his son; Frank C. Gray, Jr. and wife Catherine and his grandson, Andrew Gray.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm on Saturday and continue until the hour of the funeral service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
